The Glory Days Cup - A Soccer Experience for AYSO Staff, Volunteers and Familes

About the Glory Days Cup
Haven't heard of The Glory Days Cup? or you may have heard of it and want to know how to participate?
Well, details for the 2011 Glory Days Cup are available at www.GloryDaysCup.com

But let's start by reviewing our inagural event.
  • Event held November 6-7, 2010.
  • 12 teams consisting of 140 regional volunteers, including coaches, referees and board members.
  • Over 450 in attendance Saturday night at AVCP where everyone enjoyed pizza and other goodies furnished by R889 with the support of our friends at Ballpark Pizza.
  • Over 350 in attendance Sunday to watch the semi-finals, finals and participate in R889's Volunteer Appreciation Picnic.
  • Incredible soccer played by talented players with frequent sighthings of terrible soccer being played by other volunteers.
  • Bumps and bruises immediately healed by fun, laughter and the joy of R889 coming together for a wonderful event.

Now that's a lot to live up to for 2011.

But The Glory Days Cup will be back and even better, than last year.

We will have more teams, more fun and two divisions for the culimating weekend tournament on November 5-6, 2011. And of course, we will have food, fun and maybe some coffee on hand in case it's cold again.
