Region 889 Information Tents

Region 889 Information Tents (formerly the Referee Tent)

The Tents at Aliso Viejo Community Park & Aliso Canyon Community Park are for our Referee’s to use before, during and after games.
Tents are setup as long as a minimum of four games are happening at that park on a given Saturday. They will also be used to distribute
Regional information to any of our member families.

Because this is an extra step of care we take to show our families support, we are always in need of Adult volunteers to help us run these
locations. Additional responsibilities in the tent may include: setting up/down the tent, answering questions from parents that wander over, handing out fliers for Region 889, directing parents to the correct Region 889 contact person, etc.
Only certified Region 889 volunteers may work in this tent since there are always children present and you are representing our organization when you’re in the tent. Certified means having a current Volunteer Application Form on file with AYSO and also means Safe Haven Certification.

Ready to Volunteer?

Follow the three steps below.  They include registering a Volunteer Application Form, Safe Haven online training , then  signing up to work a shift in the Referee Tent. You must provide your eAYSO ID number to work in the tent. Questions before signing up? Email Tracy at [email protected]
